I was impressed how Brenda gave everyone the time she needed to share experience & also lay out the idea that navigating through separation & divorce may stimulate returning to old pattern/role and gave specific examples to cope with & understand them. Having read he excellent analysis of her many articles on Substack beforehand, clarify my experience & prompted me to participate in the support group. Hearing one after another woman’s story in various stages of dealing with the unhealthy relationship with men who display narcissistic tendencies gave me a chance to more fully appreciate my own personal experience of living with a man who displays many of the behavioral patterns that have confused, troubled, pained & exhausted me over the past 3 years. I listened to women who have suffered for decades, undergone far more tragic consequences, complicated by young children growing up in these environments of dysregulation & dysfunction and I’m feeling empowered to speak this truth with relief that I don’t have to endure my husband’s pain any more. I find a shocking denial in my therapists, past & present, who has worked with us, individually & together, to identify & acknowledge these traits or patterns of behavior, how they relate to past childhood wounding, etc. I’ve learned more in the past 24 hours through Brenda’s work than in the couple of years with two different counselors my husband & I have seen. It’s very interesting how so many onlookers either deny what’s going on or just get sick of hearing about it from their so-called friends who live with & suffer the partner with the narcissistic behavior. Dealing with the upshot is the focus of this support group, learning that these are not healthy behaviors & can be rejected. Thank you Brenda! I’m learning so much that provides a deeper wisdom to continue to build on.

I'm glad I finally found a narcissism support group. Brenda is warm, supportive, and presented information in an organized manner. I love the handouts and the reference app. I look forward to attending more groups and healing.
